Adam's famous!

Adam got asked to help with the masonry on a house that Extreme Home Makeover's were doing in Pocatello!! He and his dad and his friend Shayne spent most of a day working on the brick for this house. It looks really nice, and I think it's so cool that he got to be a part of it!
When Adam took me to see the house we saw someone famous for a second!! I'm not exactly sure what his name is, but everyone was saying that he's the guy with the Australian accent. Adam actually got to see a couple other famous people. Lucky.

The house going up. It's crazy how fast this was built! All in a matter of a couple of days. In the front left corner you can see the brick columns Adam built. And he did some in the back too, but I didn't get a picture.

Here's the columns in the front they were working on.

The finished house! And that's the Extreme Home Makeover bus. Adam was there when the family came back too and got to shout, "Move that bus!". How fun! hehehe
It is going to air in November, so be watching for it!

We're having fun-really we are

I actually meant to post these pictures before the chaos of last week happened- but really- we are having a fun summer! :) Yes, there have been some set backs- but we are having fun- REALLY. :)
Ella and Aaron went camping with my parents and my family a couple of weeks ago in La Pine, Oregon. They had a great time. I was worried about sending them camping without us, but I'm glad they got to go. They had a BLAST! Ella and Aaron and my mom
Ella and Aaron

This is my brother Chris and his adorable boy Kaden in a backpack and it looks like Ella and Aaron are hitching on for the ride!

My dad and Ella and Aaron

My parents, and Ella and Aaron. That looks so beautiful!

Smelling a tree? :) (Ok- my dad always told us they smelled of either chocolate, strawberry or vanilla) I'm guessing that's what he's telling them too.

In a cave!

While Ella and Aaron were camping we made sure Ashton and Livia had a fun time. This is Ashton freezing after he got done with a water slide.

Adam took the kids rock climbing and this is Liv's panicked face as she's being hooked to a kids harness.

Now she's happier. (A note: I wouldn't let him take her higher than I could touch her)

Ashton was all smiles. He is a little daredevil! You never would have guessed would you?!

I thought this was the cutest picture of Livia and Marshall! These two are going to be trouble some day!

Yesterday we went to a place near- by called Steadman's. They have 2 water slides and sandboxes and zip lines and all sorts of fun things. ( I got to watch :) ) This is Adam taking Liv down on his lap.

This is Aaron and Ashton in the enormous sand box. They were in heaven! (And then Adam hosed them off in ice cold water)

Adam hooked up the kids repelling harness to the zip line and then caught them at the bottom. They had fun doing it! I was holding my breath. The harness actually worked really well, and Ashton and Ella loved it! (Aaron was not interested at all)

A highlight for me was I got to meet one of my best friends from High School up in Idaho Falls!! This is Chelsa and her cute girl Kylie. She is only 4 days younger than Liv. I'm so glad it worked out to meet up with Chelsa, we had a great visit.

A long night = a long day

Well- I thought I was doing so well!! Apparently too well, because little baby boy thought it was time to make his debut....NOT YET!!
I'd been having a lot of contractions the last several days, but then on Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning they wouldn't stop and they were right on top of each other. So Adam and I called Kim (who we owe dearly) at 3:00 a.m.- and we went to labor and delivery. They gave me a shot 3 different times to try to stop the contractions and they wouldn't stop, so they gave me a pill and that seemed to slow things down.
So now I have to take a pill every 6 hours, and yes, bed-rest AGAIN! They gave me a steroid shot for the baby's lungs and I go back today for another shot, and then I think I get one more after that.
I'm still having contractions, but not as bad, so HOPEFULLY this baby boy will hold out for a few more weeks.
My awesome sister came yesterday to help us and my mom is already on the road to come to our rescue. WOW! This baby is full of surprises.

Not much has changed...

His profile is a little shadowed this week. And we didn't even get one in 3D! I'm feeling ripped off! As far as updates....he's still measuring 2 1/2 to 3 weeks early. So I'm guessing the first part of September. Maybe Labor Day (that would be fitting) :). He weighs 4 lbs 11 oz right now- so she said he's going to be a good size baby! What a blessing! Hopefully he can hang in there for a few more weeks. For the record- nesting has officially started! I spent 3 hours in Ella and Livia's room yesterday cleaning and organizing, and then got out the baby clothes- so all that is ready. Today I'm going to tackle the boy's room!! Wish me luck!

Fun times :)

I just had to share a couple of photos of the fun times we're having around here.... I sent this picture to Adam when he was working out of town and titled it, "No more Wii" and he texts back and says, "umm...wii remote to the face?" Bingo! Seriously, this kid always has a black eye. Poor kid. And yes, no more wii. (thank you Ashton).
This has to be just a classic childhood photo. :) She was really loving that cone.

The boys with one of their good friends Spencer. This is while we were waiting for a parade. The boys were so excited for candy. :) And Ashton knew how to get the candy! He followed the parade for a while and then he would come running back to us. He was pretty funny to watch. And he got lots of candy!
