Lariat cave (aka the Batcave!)

We had such a fun adventure with our friends the Brown's on Saturday. We went to Lariat Cave which is in the middle of the desert. You would never know it was there if you weren't looking for it. On one side are some cows, and the other some lava rocks. It was a great adventure for all of us. The boys were especially excited to be in the "Batcave"- note the cape Aaron's wearing. :)

Flower child

I wanted an outside picture with Livvy by our beautiful tulips. They turned out pretty cute, I just forgot she couldn't sit up on her own, so ignore my hand in the picture! Check out those cheeks and chins!!! Love it!

What a doll!!

Ella is 7 years old now!! She is such a joy. She really is. She is beautiful and so talented. She loves her brothers and sister so much, and would do anything for them. She is one of my best friends and I love that she wants to be with me and do things with me. She's my running buddy, and my right hand man! I love her ( we all love her) so much.

For her birthday she wanted dolls. This surprised me, because she's never really been that in to dolls. However, she told me she wanted to do their hair, and get them dressed and all those girly things, and then I understood. :) So she got two fun dolls for her birthday. She also wanted to go roller skating. So she invited her best friend Allyson to go roller skating. It was a lot of fun!!

Photo shoot!

Since Adam is "anti taking the kids to a photo studio", I decided to set one up in my bedroom! Livia needed some "professional looking" photos, and I think the kids and I did a good job! The boys held up my bedspread behind Liv, and Ella was making her smile! Good work guys :) We got our photo shoot, and didn't have to pay the big bucks! We are so cheap!

Talent Show!

Our primary had a talent show today (saturday May 9th). It was so much fun!! Of course my children are oh so very talented, it was hard for them to decide what to do! Ashton did a somersault, Aaron balanced on one foot, and Ella played the piano. I missed the beginning of her song, but it repeats, so hopefully you can get the feel of it. She is doing soooo well! Her song is called "Galloping Ponies".

Four Months Old!

Has it really already been four months?! Livia is definatly not a "newborn" anymore. The other day, I had her in a t-shirt and jeans, and some cute tennis shoes, and she just looked so big! She is smiling, and laughing all the time now. She still can't roll all the way over, but she can go half way! We love her sooo much, and as long as I'm holding her- she's the perfect baby. :)

I'm so lucky

Some days I really wonder how I got so lucky as to find a guy like Adam!! He never ceases to amaze me. On Sunday I was stressing ( a little) about making some lilies for Ella's class.- 22 of them for "Teacher Appreciation Day". How I get roped in to doing this sort of thing I never will know. Anyway, Livia was not wanting to be put down even for a minute, so I was worried about how I was going to get these done. Adam looks at me and says, "You go sit on the couch with Livia, and I'll handle the flowers." This surprised me, but I said "Ok". And 22 flowers later, we had a beautiful bouquet. I love you Adam. I had to take a picture of the final product! (I think he actually enjoyed doing this!)
