We've been loving our little Eliza, and my mom has been an angel to help us out with everything this week. She's been helping with school, and I think the kids have liked their "substitute teacher" pretty well!

She made rolls with Livia after reading "The Little Red Hen"
Yummy!

She and Aaron and Ashton made a yummy pizza

And more pictures of Eliza.  :)

We have been so blessed. I just can't get enough of our newest little angel.  She is a terrific baby.  After a couple nights of getting days/nights figured out, I think she's got it now. :)  I am so grateful I've been lucky enough to have 6 amazing kids. Each of them have taught me so much. I love each of them more than they'll ever know.

It's been a while

I've been feeling pretty guilty about not updating the blog. There's always the usual excuses, like we moved, we had no internet, I'm 9 months pregnant. Oh, wait.....those seem pretty legit right?! So, it's been a little busy, but I will try to do lots better. We have some catching up to do now......

We started off September with going to my parents house.....about 30 seconds after we got there they asked to ride the horses, and grandma was happy to oblige. :)  I think the kids rode horses every single day. It was so much fun.

Ella got to go on a few longer rides with grandma and loved every second of it.

Livia talked grandma in to making her an Amish doll like Ella's.

while the girls sewed, Preston played with blocks :)

Livia was one happy girl!! Thanks grandma!

My dad took us all to the fair and rodeo on two different days. And I must not have gotten any pictures of that! It was a lot of fun though too. Thanks dad!  And thanks mom and dad for a wonderful short and sweet visit. We love coming to Washington.

Then my Preston turned 3!!!! What a delightful little boy he is. He is getting to have such a fun personality, and has to do everything his older siblings do. He is Livia's little side-kick. They are so cute together.

Ella made his "blue ninja" cake. I think she did a pretty good job!

And now for a bunch of cell phone pictures.......

September also brought flag football season. We LOVE to watch the boys play flag football. Ashton was the quarter back this year, and Aaron was running back. Adam helped coach, even though he wasn't in the pic for their last game....I think he had a good time coaching his boys. :)   Ashton was getting pretty good, and Aaron is the fastest 8 year old I know. No one could catch him when he got the ball. I was one proud mom!

And.....we moved.......VERY bitter-sweet.  However, it was just enough sweet for our family to make the move worth it. We are only minutes away from Adam every day and it has been worth it just for that reason. So this was our farewell pic we took as we were leaving our house.

I got a new piano out of the deal :)  I love our new piano, and so do the kids

We have found some beautiful places to hike around our new place.

And we've still met up with our homeschool friends to have some fun field trips......

this was a music class believe it or not. :)
Karate class---the boys were in HEAVEN

We got to go to the giant corn maze that's up this way......and there's a train ride that the kids love

And roller skating we try to do every 3rd Thursday of the month with the other homeschoolers

Also to add to the excitement around here, I got in a car accident. My very first one with me driving. And hopefully the last.  Luckily no one was hurt, and the baby was fine. I was turning right onto our little road from a highway and the car behind me was following WAY to closely and "didn't see me signal or brake".... I think he was probably texting.  It scared me so bad! I thought it would send me into labor! But, it all turned out ok----except he was an uninsured driver so that STINKS.
The top car was the one that hit me, the bottom car was the one I was driving (it just happened to be my in-law's car. oops.)

Those were not the most recent pics of our "shop/house" but those were the only ones I had on my phone. We have all the exterior walls to our shop up!!!! YAY!!!!! The roof trusses are supposed to be delivered on Wednesday. Adam said the baby can come after he gets the roof on. hahahahahahahahaha........she'll probably will wait actually. I'm just ready to be done! Especially when I get the comments from strangers in Costco "It looks like there's 2 in there!"  I just had to smile at that one. I think all manners/etiquette go out the window when people make comments to very pregnant women. Why do people not just keep those thoughts to themselves??!!!

And here's some more pics of the kids.  We are adjusting well, and very excited about the soon to be addition to our crazy family. And that's what we've been up to!!!!!!!
