Who's who?

I could not believe how much these pictures of Ella and Livia look alike! It will be interesting to see if they look alike as they get older. Only time will tell. Can you tell who's who?

*Livia is the one on the left, Ella is on the right

One year older and wiser too!

Adam is 30!!! And just so it's on the record- 30 is definatly not old! We had a fun time with our friends Shayne and Kim.(and of couse Livia got dressed up and came along! Thanks for the outfit Grandma and Grandpa) We went to the Texas Roadhouse for dinner. And then we went roller skating! Then we came home and played the Wii. Shayne is a master cow racer! It was a lot of fun- though I was dissapointed that the Roadhouse doesn't sing "happy birthday" at the table. Oh well. I'll embarrass him instead by putting a video of him roller skating on the blog! :) Happy Birthday Adam- I love you!

I thought I would put a picture of the funniest card I've ever seen! I laughed so hard when I read this birthday card to Adam from my grandparents.

Pay it forward

The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice--for you! This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make NO guarantees that you will LIKE what I make! (I can only hope)
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It WILL be done this year.
4. You have no CLUE what it’s going to be … it may be cards, a bookmark, something delicious or a complete surprise to you (and me!) … who knows?
5. Most importantly, you MUST offer the same deal on your blog - the first 5 people to comment on your blog get something made by YOU!

Don't do that Ashton!

How many times do you have to tell a little boy not to look in the truck's exhaust pipe? :)
note- That's not a burn, it's just a black mark.

Being spontaneous!

We decided to do something spontaneous and head to Salt Lake. After frantically packing (and not enough diapers-you would think 13 would be enough for one day!)- we spent the night in a hotel with a pool! The kids had a lot of fun. We spent the day with Chris and Marla in their beautiful new home. Then Jesse, Doug, Sarah and Kelvin joined us in the evening for a fun get-together. It was a nice weekend, and a LATE drive coming home-especially with the time change! But it was worth it.

The Hat story

So two months ago I was feeling the need to really splurge and buy Ella and Livia some cute matching hats. I found some online and was so excited to have actually done the 'cutesy thing' and bought my 2 girls something that matched- and they could wear them ALL winter. Well- they didn't come and didn't come. FINALLY yesterday- two months after the fact, they came! Now that winter is almost over and we're supposed to have 50 degree weather. :) So I'll just have to enjoy the pictures.
