February came and went!

Where did February go??!! We've been staying crazy busy. Along with house building we have had some fun filled days of activities and crafts.

February starts off with my birthday :)  Here's a picture of my favorite cake that Adam made for me. Oatmeal cake is the best! It was a great birthday. I got to go on a lunch date with Adam and he made me a yummy chicken dinner later. And as a bonus the house started to get sheet-rocked on my birthday! YAY!!! (My next post will be a tour of the progress of our house.)

We live near a pool now so we're taking advantage of that! Since the boys were in basketball still, I didn't sign them up for lessons yet, but that didn't stop them from swimming when basketball didn't over-lap with younger siblings lessons.  Everyone but Ella will have private swim lessons starting in March though.


 


Preston wasn't old enough for the group lessons, so he had private lessons with "Kathy". He has had soooo much fun.

 Livia is in the group swimming lessons in level 1.  There were 2 teachers and it's mostly only her that shows up for lessons--so that has been awesome.

Our little Eliza Grace is 3 months old now!!! She is such a joy in our lives. She can put a smile on anyone's face. .  She sleeps through the night, and is a thumb sucker!!! We love thumb suckers. She can comfort herself and put herself back to sleep! (We'll worry about breaking the habit later---we're just enjoying it for now!)

With some birthday money I bought myself a sewing machine! I have had so much fun with it. I made all of us girls matching skirts. :)  I think they turned out cute.

 The boys had an awesome basketball season!!! Their team was great. An awesome group of boys. They played so well together. They learned so much this year. It was a lot of fun to watch them. Go Cougars!!

 February went by fast.  We are getting to the finishing touches of our house. We are so excited to move in (for lots of reasons).  It will be nice to get out of this tiny rental and have some space!! Like I said earlier, the next post I do will be of a tour of our new place!
