Jackson Hole!

Since this week is our anniversary (12 years!!) and my birthday,  we decided to go to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for the weekend! It was so much fun!! We stayed the night at a wonderful hotel in Idaho Falls on Friday night, and then headed to Jackson in the morning.  Before we left Idaho Falls we saw this sign on the side of a flower shop...................

Ella's lucky day!!!                      and, we took a few pics by the river before we left. Ella and her rose.

Beautiful Jackson Hole! We took a sleigh ride out on the Elk Refuge. It was a blast! We got so close to all the beautiful elk.

And we stopped at a museum

We went on a road that went along the backside of the refuge and we saw some neat things......We think this was a Golden Eagle. From far away this bird looked HUGE! And then when it started to fly it looked even bigger. So that was our guess.

We got to see bighorn sheep too!!! I don't remember ever seeing this many bighorn sheep.
If you look closely you can see them all. They are pretty camouflage.Aaron spotted them!
More of the elk on the refuge. In the summer these elk head back to Teton National Park. They said about seven percent will go on into Yellowstone.

It was such a fun weekend!! I think we'll make it a tradition!
