Disneyland!!

For Christmas, we told the kids we would take them to Disneyland.....we just didn't say when. :)

So after church on Sunday we surprised the kids and told them we were going to Disneyland....right then!!! hehehe (Ella had been a little more observant and noticed the packing)..the boys and Livia were clueless. These are their surprised looks.....

The best part of the drive in Adam's opinion......the only way to travel through southern Utah......

We spent the first night in St. George Utah. And we visited the St. George LDS temple

It was so beautiful all lit up.

We got to California early in the day on Monday. And we went to Huntington Beach.

I thought the kids would only get their feet wet. I should have known better!

I got to meet up with my very dear friend, Stacy. It was so good to see her, and we met her boyfriend Michael, who we all liked a lot too.

And then Tuesday through Thursday we hit Disneyland and California Adventure Park.....WOOHOO!

Did you notice Preston wasn't in these pictures? That was on purpose....He stayed with Adam's parents. :( It was a hard choice, but we decided he would do better with them, then to stay in his stroller the whole time. And leave it to Preston to prove us wrong and instead get a double ear infection, goopy eyes, and a black eye while staying with Grandma and Grandpa. I'm not sure if they'll ever watch our kids again. :) They claim they still had a great time though. And I still probably wouldn't have taken Preston----I saw too many grumpy kids and parents that had kids that age.......It was just a lot of fun to spend with my four oldest and of course my fabulous husband. GREAT VACATION GUYS!!!!

So much in February!

Happy February!!! We have a crazy first few weeks of February, with anniversary and birthday- but it makes winter go by faster.

That first picture was when we went to our new favorite park in Pocatello the day after our anniversary. It was soooo nice out!!! And you'd think my kids would want to play on the playground--but instead they played football. And we all had a great time.

My mom even got to join us- she was on her way down to Utah. So we played at the park and then she took the kids home so Adam and I could go out for our anniversary. Thanks mom!

Mom, Ella, and Livia going for a walk.And a couple of days after our anniversary is my birthday. I've been dreading this birthday for quite a while- it's a milestone---but guess what?! I survived turning 30!!!! And my mom told me I should just appreciate every birthday- and she's right. (plus, I don't feel any older anyway) :)

I had angel food cake with strawberries. Livia talked me in to it. And it was sure good!
