Delicious!!!!!
So I tried a new cinnamon roll recipe and WOW!!!! I must say, these are the best I've EVER made- they even rival my mom/grandma's recipe. And that's saying something, because my mom and grandma make the best cinnamon rolls in the world.- But seriously these will give even the best, a run for the money. So click on the link below, and try it out. DELICIOUS!! ( Adam ate one of the 9x13 pans by himself when he came home from work! )

The end result....
So remember Ashton got his teeth knocked out for New Year's.....well- it's been many weeks now with braces, and ta da......
He got his "braces" off last Wednesday- and they actually look pretty good. They didn't turn black, or even grey as I had suspected! And this is the best smile Ashton would give me. :) Hey--I paid for that smile!! Lookin' good buddy!

My cousin Naomi is going to college near us, and we've been able to see more of her, so that's been really fun! On Saturday she did something very ambitious, and brave----she took Ella, Aaron and Ashton to the petting zoo and out to ice cream. :) My kids were soooo excited all week- and I was worried. I was mostly nervous about how Ashton would do- but in the end- Naomi said they were great, and they all had a really good time. (Except Ashton learned his lesson about trying to pet a goose.) oops! And thanks to Naomi for documenting the excursion and sending the pictures!

So much to do, so little time!
The month of February is crazy for us!! Poor Adam, he has a lot on his plate the first couple weeks- we first have our anniversary on the 3rd, then on the 7th is my birthday, then of course there's Valentines Day...... We've been busy! And actually, we've probably been on more dates these last couple of weeks than in our entire marriage! It's been great!
We celebrated our 9th anniversary! We went out to eat at Johnny Carrino's. YUM! What a wonderful nine years it's been. I love Adam more every day.
Happy birthday to me! We had oatmeal cake (which is the best cake ever). If you want the recipe, you'll have to leave a comment. :) We didn't have enough candles, so Adam said that he did the Roman numeral equivalent. hmmmm
Adam and I decorated! We made two of these "weed decorations". I really like them, so I guess that's that's all that matters. :)

You should try it...yes you should!
So I really wanted some chocolate cake last night--randomly-- but by the time we got Livia to bed it was already 9:00. Too late to make a cake, because by the time we got it all put together it would be at least 10:00. I was bummed. However..Adam was thumbing through a recipe book his mom gave us for Christmas and he found this recipe....and we had chocolate cake from start to stop in 5 minutes!!!! REALLY!!! And it was good!!!! So you should try it!!!! It's the perfect size batch for 2 people.
3 Minute Microwave Chocolate Cake
3 Tbsp oil
3 Tbsp milk
1 egg
2 Tbsp baking cocoa
4 Tbsp sugar
4 Tbsp flour
Optional: chocolate chips (we added these) or you could add nuts, coconut, etc.
Use a glass microwavable bowl. Put all the ingredients in the bowl- and the chocolate chips if you desire- it's really good with chocolate chips. Mix together. Microwave for 3 minutes. Turn out and enjoy!! We of course ate it right out of the bowl warm- with ice cream. YUM! ENJOY!

Livia is one!!
I really can't believe our little Livi is one!!! She has brought such joy to our family. She is developing a very sweet personality. She has been a mommas girl this entire year, and I have loved that! None of my other kids have had the "I must have my mom" attitude, and so it's been fun for me to always get a hug-frustrating for Adam. But, she is improving with Adam (sometimes--- it depends on the day, and time of day, and lots of other things. ) But oh, we love this little chunk so very much!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIVIA!!
Liv's attempt to say she's one!
I just love that you can hear me singing above every one else in every video we have. I think next time Adam gets to hold the camera. :) -What a wonderful day!
